The year was 1997

I was seven and hooked on a game called Armored Core where giant robots battled in arenas. Each AC had its own story and a fitting 64 by 64 pixel emblem. I spent hours designing emblems, captivated by the endless stories.

Awkward teenage years

Growing up I worked as an apprentice carpenter under my father. He instilled in me a relentless work ethic. To this day I still enjoy building things and working with my hands.

Semi-adult years

A video game nerd at heart, I studied multimedia and game design with a minor in advertising at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. After graduating I had no idea what to do with such a weird skill-set.

After landing my first gig in advertising I learned that my work ethic and passion for storytelling was a perfect fit for creating immersive brand stories. I'm currently an Associate Creative Director at Havas Chicago.
